Naming Kajun Kleaning

One thing my customers and friends always ask me is, “How did you come up with the name Kajun Kleaning?”  They know I am from Louisiana and that’s where the Cajun comes from but they all wonder why I spell it, with a K.  

I have always liked the letter K, so when my boys were born, I named them Kodey and Kasey.  As you can see, both their names begin with K.  When I fell into the cleaning business in 2006, I knew I wanted a name that would highlight my time growing up in Louisiana.

The business started growing and soon my accountant told me I needed to pick out a name for my business.  I wanted something catchy and Kodey suggested, “How about cajun cleaning.”  I liked it, so I changed the C’s to K’s and today my cleaning company is called, Kajun Kleaning.  Each time I say or think about that name I am reminded how special my boys are to me and how much I love them.

 The best thing about owning a small business is the whole family gets to help out.  The boys don’t always enjoy helping but I’m thankful to have their support.  There have been so many times when I’ve been slammed and they pulled me through.  Occasionally, when all my girls were busy and we had several condos turning around on the same day, the boys have saved me.  

I love cleaning and I love spending time with the boys, so for me it works out wonderfully.  Soon they will be grown and gone, but I will always look back on our time cleaning together and it will bring joy to my heart.  Long after they have moved away and I see or hear Kajun Kleaning, I’ll think of the two best blessings the Lord has ever given me!

Blogging about Kajun Kleaning

Welcome to my new Blog.  Many of my customers encouraged me to use the internet to explain more about Kajun Kleaning and what we do for our clients.  I am new to this ‘internet thing’ but thought this would be a good way for me to highlight some of the work we do in the Branson area.  I hope to showcase some of the homes, businesses, condos and theaters we clean.  

I have always enjoyed helping people keep their properties clean and in order and am very thankful God has blessed me with such a successful and growing business.  I take pride in knowing my clients are happy with the service we provide and I appreciate the recommendations they have been giving me.

It has been a bit hard to keep up with the demand, but the Lord has been faithful to send some very dependable and honest workers my way.  Without their help, there is no way I could respond to all the requests for cleaning I have been receiving this year.  They have truly been a huge blessing to me.

In this blog I will not only share about my cleaning activities and how my business is going, but I hope to include thoughts on my family and life in general.  I want to thank all my current customers for their business and encouragement and I hope everyone enjoys my updates.
